While at Comic Con I came across a booth with all sorts of cute Winnie the Pooh sketches, among other Disney characters. Mike Royer was responsible for many of the Winnie the Pooh product designs in the 1990s, and was happy to explain what some of the various sketches were used for. Of course, he wasn't quite sure for this particular sketch, but I learned a bit about shirt design while browsing.
I settled on this sketch because I Eeyore and Piglet are my favorite characters, and I love the flowers. Mike said the shadows ended up blue for some fun, since all the designs were faxed over to Disney in black and white, so it didn't matter what colors he used.
